Research

I'm a graduate student in the Strategy and Organization Area of the PhD Program at the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University. My supervisor is Samer Faraj.  I study how organizational work shapes and is transformed by emerging technologies.

I have two core research interests:

Coordination

Expertise and Knowledge

Technology binds these topics. I'm interested in how technology changes how we coordinate and enact expertise across knowledge boundaries. I'm interested in answers to 'how' questions, as well as how we come to these answers. I like engaging with research methods and exploring the role of these methods in constructing the world that we study. Despite the trappings of technology and computation, I identify first as a qualitative researcher.

Teaching and pedagogy are important to me and are a part of all my research projects.
